LIVE FRAMES
ARTIFICIALIA’s Live Frames is the museum space which displays dioramas. By definition, the current, popular understanding of the term diorama denotes a partially three-dimensional, full-size replica or scale model of a landscape typically showing historical events, nature scenes or cityscapes, for purposes of education or entertainment.
What ARTIFICIALIA proposes, here, instead, are three-dimensional, full-size replicas of sensations and feeling. What distinguishes our dioramas from others is the fact we don’t have smaller miniature and we don’t use scale models and landscaping to create historical or fictional scenes. No.
What we want to convey and depict in Live Frames are scenes taken from the ordinary day but twisted with something outlandish which blends the recreations into something truly unique and remarkable.
Our Live Frames are some sort of still images of what lies beneath the surface of things. Are like polaroids of different lives, lived in the corners. Or, simply, bubbles of existence brought in this reality.
Visiting our Live Frames is a unique experience which plays with your emotional states of your mind.
